LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- A Logan man is celebrating his 106th birthday.

On Tuesday, A.B. Blake became the second-oldest man in Utah.

Doctors say he's in pretty good health and might be better this year than he was during his 105th birthday. Doctors say he never complains about anything and his memory seems to be improving.

Blake's a participant in a Utah State University memory study, and doctors say his latest round of memory testing suggested his memory had improved from a year ago.

Blake says he's had a good life. One of his favorite stories to tell is meeting President Teddy Roosevelt as a child when Blake lived near Flagstaff, Ariz.
