SALT LAKE CITY — A man accused of producing child pornography and distributing it was arrested over the weekend and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.
John Christopher Ogden, 34, of Sandy, was arrested by federal agents from Homeland Security and officers from the Unified Police Department on Friday and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Ogden was "producing, possessing and distributing child pornography," including images of an 11-year-old girl, according to a jail report.
Investigators said they were alerted to Ogden based on a tip.
