(KSL News) -- A woman in West Valley City called police when a stranger started pounding on her door late last night.
The man had just rolled his car. He was bleeding but not seriously hurt. Instead of staying at the scene, he ran.
Sgt. John Pearce, West Valley City Police Dept.: "He apparently tried to get into an apartment that didn't belong to him. [He was] found hiding in a garden arrangement a short distance from there."
Police believe he was intoxicated and disoriented.
They don't think he was trying to break in, but he just came to the wrong apartment.
He faces charges for DUI and fleeing the scene.
