(KSL News) The owners of the Crandall Canyon mine have been given the go-ahead to reopen another one of their facilities here in Utah.
The Tower mine ceased production shortly after the collapse at Crandall Canyon. Yesterday, the Mine Safety and Health Administration said as soon as the necessary safety equipment is put in place, the mine can reopen.
More than 170 miners were out of work when the Tower mine went idle.
