PROVO — Five have been arrested after a portable meth lab was discovered in Provo Sunday night.

Provo police said they received a call Sunday night about suspicious items that had been found in a storage shed at the Boulder Apartments. An officer was dispatched to the scene, where chemicals and glassware from a recently used meth lab were found.

The Drug Enforcement Agency was contacted to disassemble the lab.

An investigation led to a search warrant being issued for a home located at 2153 W 360 S, where Provo police and a Utah County SWAT team arrested four individuals.

Kimberly Behunin, 34; Ann Baker, 29; and Austin Nicholas, 21, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Richard Bell, 50, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Colter Vest, 27, was arrested at a separate location for possession of a clandestine lab.

Provo police chief Rick Gregory said the city is relentless in pursuing labs and street level drug activity, due to the inherent dangers of such labs.

"We are especially concerned about any meth lab activity within our city," he said.
