Randall Jeppesen, KSL Newsradio Two hundred employees of the Novell campus in Provo are now looking for new jobs.

Novell has been restructuring to be more efficient, or more profitable. The spokesman for the company's Provo location, Kevan Barney, says that means today 200 employees from the Provo campus are gone. "If you can reduce costs and still provide quality, then that's the reason for making this kind of decision," he explained.

And what happened to those jobs? "We have a development center of significance in India. We have significant development in Germany and other places in Europe. So, they're moving outside the United States," Barney said.

Barney says they still employ more than 1,200 people in Utah, and right now there are no more planned cuts.
