(KSL News) The man accused of running down his wife with his car and killing her made his first court appearance today, but he didn't say much.
Sherman Lynch heard the charges against him, and he told the judge he couldn't afford an attorney.
Lynch is charged with murder and obstruction of justice. Police say he ran over his wife while she was walking down the road in their Holladay neighborhood then lied about it.
Lynch will be back in court later this month.
