4A playoffs: Orem advances to semifinals with 54-35 win over Skyline

WEST VALLEY CITY - Zach Hunsaker led Orem with 14 points on 5-9 shooting as the Tigers advanced to the 4A semifinals with a 54-35 win over Skyline.

Skyline's DeSean Miller put on a show with a pair of acrobatic layups that helped his team keep pace with the Tigers. He had 18 points.

Orem broke the game open in the 3rd quarter outscoring the Eagles 17-5. Sophomore Dalton Nixon had 11 points and made 3 of 6 three-point attempts. Josh Pollard had 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Orem will meet Bountiful Friday in the 4A semifinals.
