(KSL News) Former Utah County Commissioner David Gardner has been ordered to stand trial on charges he fondled a woman inside his car.
At a pre-trial hearing yesterday the judge scheduled a trial date for next February. Gardner is accused of misdemeanor sexual battery.
It's the latest in a series of legal troubles for Gardner. His political career fell apart after previous charges of drunken driving and a misconduct charge involving a skirmish with a 9-year-old boy.
