FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) -- The expansion of the Davis Conference Center is going to cost more than expected, but the project is still under budget.
The Davis County Commission approved several change orders yesterday that mean spending an additional $83,000, or about 1 percent of the total budget.
The original contract was just under $9 million. The county budgeted $10.6 million for the expansion. The project is expanding the center by 43,000 square feet.
