(KSL News) -- A student at Pleasant Grove Junior high was taken to the hospital this afternoon.
The student was apparently injured in the school's gym, and suffered a serious cut to the stomach.
The student was transported to American Fork Hospital for treatment.
Police say the incident appeared to be from horseplay and was not the result of an assault.
