SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The director of the Utah Office of Ethnic Affairs is stepping down.
Luz Robles' last day will be Friday. She is leaving state government after more than two years on the job.
Robles has taken a new job with Zions Bank. She says she is also considering a run for public office next year.
Robles' job with the state included working with state departments to recruit, promote and retain minority state employees. She also helped with organizing the office's community events, such as the state's first ethnic business conference.
Robles' replacement will be appointed by the governor.
