JUAB COUNTY — Looking for something colorful to see this weekend? The Nebo Loop might just the spot.

You definitely feel at ease when you're in the middle of those reds and oranges and yellows. But more than that, life seems to slow down a little.

You could spend hours or days looking at all the fall colors along Nebo Loop and still not come up with the best words to describe it all. Moroni resident Bry Davis has been trying for years.

"I don't know that there is a way to describe what you see up here," Davis said. "After working all week, you want to get away. This is where I come."

He's got his camper, his campfire, and his loyal dog Mack. But most of all, Davis enjoys the miles and miles of endless beauty.

Colorado photographer Richard Cernak visited
the Nebo Loop Friday. "I was looking on the
Internet and thought it looked like a nice
place," he said.

He's not alone though. There are many others who know when the leaves change colors Nebo Loop is the place to see it.

Terry Wong and his family came from Hong Kong. "This is really, really great," Wong said. "It's so magnificent."

Of course, Nebo Loop is pretty in the spring and summer, and even winter has its own kind of beauty, but visitors say there's just something about the fall — with the trees, leaves, and just the smell in the air — that makes this spot special.

"It almost makes me want to take up painting and oil paint something you know?" Davis said.

And with times as tough as they are right now, we could all use a place like this to just get away.

"You forget about work when you get up here. You forget all your troubles. Your stress level is a lot lower," Davis said.

It seems all it takes are a few trees, a few colors, and a few hours.

If you want to see it for yourself, you can pick up the northern part of Nebo Loop near Payson and the southern part near Nephi. Just make sure you give yourself a few hours to enjoy it all.
