LOS ANGELES — Watching Utah's own Dia Frampton on NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday night, viewers weren't thinking about the hours of rehearsal, the hair and makeup, the nerves that went into her performance. They were just thinking how great she sounded and how easy she made it look. But that's Hollywood magic.

"I've been playing in a band for seven years now, and that's not counting my first band that started when I was 14," Dia said.

Utah's own Dia Frampton could win it all on NBC's "The Voice" Wednesday night. To vote for her CLICK HERE.

Dia has performed with the band "Meg and Dia" during the Warped Tour and Angels and Airwaves. But it's taken hard work and patience — like paying at county fairs with no fans — to get where she is now.

Meg and Dia have been through the excitement of being signed to a label, followed by the disappointment of being dropped.

Dia hesitated trying out for "The Voice," thinking it wasn't for her. Now she's happy she did. It's reminded her of important rule for all artists: "Take advantage of every opportunity that's given," Dia said.

"The Voice" coach Adam Levine is another example of hard work paying off. He waited tables and worked as a writer's assistant before Maroon 5 took off. Now, with multiple Grammys to the band's name, he offers this advice for aspiring artists.

"Be really honest with yourself," Levine said. "Don't do things that make you feel uncomfortable — that's a big thing."

There may be stumbles and disappointments, he said, but remember one thing: "Have a good time. It's music. It's supposed to be fun."

If you liked Dia's performance Tuesday night, you can vote for her HERE. Voting ends at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

You can watch "The Voice" results show Wednesday night at 7:00 on KSL Channel 5. Then on KSL 5 News at 10, we will have a live report from Los Angeles and the latest from Dia Frampton.
