While all of the kickoff times are yet to be determined, we now know when BYU's first season as a Division I football independent will officially start, with live play-by-play coverage on KSL Radio.

As announced by the University of Mississippi today, BYU will open the season Saturday, September 3rd at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi, with a 2:45pm MT kickoff; the game will be televised on ESPN.
While we normally start pregame coverage two hours prior, KSL will start pregame coverage at 12:30pm MT that day, allowing for slightly extended coverage for the season opener. Similarly, for the Utah game on September 17th, pregame coverage will start at 5:00pm, with a 7:15pm kickoff.

Current plans now call for four games to be televised on ESPN, with another on ESPN2, and the Hawaii game already committed to one of the ESPN platforms.
On September 1st, 2010, BYU signed an eight-year deal with ESPN to televise Cougar football on the Worldwide Leader's family of networks.
The wide-ranging agreement also allows for BYUtv to broadcast games not selected for broadcast by ESPN.
