SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah lawmaker has filed legislation that would deny in-state tuition rates to undocumented immigrants who want to attend college in Utah.
Over the past several years, similar attempts to change existing Utah law have failed by slim margins; but Rep. Carl Wimmer, (R) Herriman, says the failure of the DREAM Act to pass Congress is a sign that he will have the votes this year.
