PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Brigham Young University's undergraduate and graduate accounting programs are ranked second in the nation. That's according to an annual survey by a top accounting trade publication.
The university's programs moved up one spot in Public Accounting Report's rankings. B-Y-U's program has been listed in the top three in the nation for ten consecutive years.
The rankings are based on a survey of accounting professors and college department heads.
This year's top-ranked undergraduate programs are University of Texas, B-Y-U, University of Notre Dame, University of Southern California and University of Illinois.
The top master's-level programs are University of Texas, B-Y-U, University of Illinois, University of Notre Dame and University of Southern California.
