TOOELE -- Deputies in Tooele County shut down a stretch of I-80 Sunday night to stop a man who was driving on the wrong side of the freeway.
Deputies said the elderly man was driving to Salt Lake City to meet his family at Temple Square. The man has Alzheimer's disease and may have become disoriented and crossed onto the wrong side of the freeway.
Officers were able to stop him. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
