Police Checkpoints Continue for Open Alcohol in Cars

(KSL News) -- Salt Lake County deputies are out a second night in a row making sure high school graduation parties stay safe.

We told you about a checkpoint up Butterfield Canyon Friday night at 10. Troopers pulled over several people with open containers of alcohol.

Tonight, Salt Lake County deputies have a checkpoint set up in Cottonwood Heights. Deputies are keeping an eye out for underage drinkers who may be behind the wheel.

School wrapped up this week for thousands of Utah high school students.
