(KSL News) A house in New Harmony goes up in flames, and the owner didn't have to go far for help.

The fire started in a stove in the basement, spread through the chimney, into the attic, then quickly moved through the entire house. One man was inside at the time. He ran a few doors down to tell his neighbor, the fire chief!

Crews fought the fire for five hours and eventually put it out. The home is a total loss.
