(KSL News) -- The Utah Attorney General's office is taking a case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Four years ago police in Brigham City entered a home to break up a fight. They found four adults holding a juvenile against a refrigerator. They were charged with intoxication and disordely conduct, among other charges.

But lower courts dismissed the charges since police entered the home without a warrant.

This is the first time in a decade Utah has sent a case to the Supreme Court.
