SALT LAKE CITY -- It's that time again: Time now for our weekly Read Today Summer Reading Challenge update.

We have more than 3,800 students who have taken the Read Today Summer Challenge, and they've logged almost 2 million minutes of reading.

We recently caught a Park City boy reading poolside at swim lessons and asked him why he liked reading.

"‘Cause it's fun," he replied.

We gave him two Bees baseball tickets for his efforts. Now, let us catch you reading!

Tuesday we'll notify the top 100 readers who earned Hogle Zoo tickets; and for our younger crowd, our top 25 first-graders get this free book from Deseret Book.

Here's our next challenge: From now through Saturday night (Aug. 7), the top 25 readers in every grade will get tickets to the Tracy Aviary. Our top 25 students in St. George get golf and bumper boat passes at the Fiesta Fun Family Fun Center.

Register your students in the Read Today Summer Challenge by clicking HERE so they are eligible to win prizes.
