(KSL News) Three hundred new state laws will take effect at midnight.
Among them is a law requiring those under 18 to get parental consent to use a commercial tanning salon. Others require expiration dates on gift certificates or make videotaping theatrical movies a misdemeanor.
Also starting tomorrow, the new "Life Elevated" license plates will become available.
Other new laws, such as the $220-million tax cut will not take effect until next year.
