Press releaseOREM -- The Utah Flash announced Saturday that they have decided not to offer a new contract to Head Coach Brad Jones. Jones spent three seasons with the Flash leading them to two winning seasons.

"We picked the right guy to help us start our franchise and it has been a pleasure working with Coach Jones," said Team President Joe Brown. "After careful consideration we have decided that we now want to move in a different direction."

Jones was the first Head Coach in Utah Flash history and had a very successful career in both coaching and scouting at the collegiate and professional level prior to his time with the Flash.

"I have no doubt Brad will make a significant contribution wherever he decides to go," Brown said.

The Flash has already begun the search for a new head coach. Utah plans to have a new head coach in place as soon as possible to construct a winning team for the upcoming season.
