PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Eight former University of Utah baseball players will have to split the cost of repainting Brigham Young University's mountainside "Y".

The repainting cost is a result of the eight men covering the giant letter with red "U"s last May.

Each of them were charged with criminal mischief and now face more than 62-hundred dollars in restitution.

Attorneys say the plan will include dividing the total amount by eight and worked out to ensure that B-Y-U receives the full amount of restitution.

Almost all of the players are now living outside of Utah.
