PROVO -- Police are searching for a robber who tied up the clerk of a Provo store.
Police say the man walked into the Trendy Tots store at 4801 N. University Ave. Wednesday afternoon. He pulled a knife and demanded the female clerk open the cash register.
He then took the clerk's debit card and car keys and tied her up in a back room.
The suspect told the woman to wait 30 minutes before she called police, but she was able to untie herself within minutes.
The suspect left the area in her vehicle, which is described as a black 2002 Hyundai Sonata, bearing Utah License plate B176AR.
Police are searching for the man, who is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds, in his late 20s or early 30s.
