(KSL News) A Cedar City woman wants pit bulls banned from her town.

The Spectrum, a St. George newspaper, reports Deval Burr uses her daughter's scars as motivation for her cause.

Burr says a pit bill attacked the four-year-old, and she now has to undergo several surgeries to repair the damage. Deval and her neighbor are collecting signatures on a petition they plan to present to the Cedar City Council tomorrow.
