SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The subjects planned to be addressed in the 2010 Census have been submitted to Congress.
Those subjects, which were submitted on Friday, include gender, age, race, ethnicity, relationship and whether people own or rent their homes.
Census Bureau officials say their goal is to provide a questionnaire that's quick and easy. The 2010 Census is expected to take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Census data directly affects how more than $200 billion every year in funding is allocated to local, state and tribal governments.
The Bureau must submit the actual questions that will appear on the 2010 Census to Congress by March 31, 2008
