Brawl Involving Dozens Sends Teen to Hospital

TAYLORSVILLE, UT (AP) -- A 19-year-old boy was hospitalized and two others were injured over the weekend following a brawl involving more than a dozen people.

The incident happened yesterday in Taylorsville. Police say as many as 15 people and several weapons were involved in the brawl. The weapons used in the fight include baseball bats, pipes, knives and brass knuckles.

As a result of the fight, police say a 19-year-old man was airlifted to LDS Hospital with serious injuries reportedly caused by a blunt object. Two others were also taken to the hospital with minor cuts and bruises and later released.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two adult men and a female juvenile for investigation of aggravated assault. So far, the motive is unknown.
