Outlook
We'll be running 19 degrees above the normal today with a forecast high of 58 in Salt Lake City, majority of the Wasatch Front will follow suit in the upper 50s. High pressure will move into the Four Corners region through this weekend, which could cause more of a "capping effect" on the northern valleys. This capping could aid in trapping more valley haze, somethign to keep an eye on. Temperatures remain mild through the next 7 days, but some changes are in store as rain chances increase next Wednesday to 30% and the ridge of high pressure starts to break down. Long range models are hinting at a pattern change that could bring storm chances late next week. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 12.12.25
