Outlook
Wildfire smoke will continue to vary in thickness throughout the week with highs in the low to mid-90s through Wednesday along the Wasatch Front. Triple digits return to the forecast this weekend with fire danger rising as a result. St. George and most of southern Utah will be up near 110 for the next several days as the core of high pressure is just to the south of the border in AZ. Long range models are hinting at the monsoon returning to the southern mountains as early as this weekend and into next week. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 8.4.26
