We're starting the work week with sunny skies and near-normal temperatures, but it won't end that way. Expect hazy sunshine on Tuesday, with highs returning to above-normal levels in the low 40s. A storm system will approach Utah from the southwest on Wednesday, producing increasing clouds, breezy conditions, and bumping temperatures into the upper 40s. Valley rain and mountain snow are expected to arrive in southwestern Utah on Wednesday night and spread north by Thursday morning. New Year's Day will be wet with valley rain and mountain snow.
