FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Gian Clavell scored 21 points and Fred Richardson III added 20 to lead Colorado State in a 98-42 rout over Nevada on Wednesday night.

The 56-point margin of victory was the largest in the Rams' school history.

Colorado State (16-2, 3-2 Mountain West) held a 55-12 lead at the half behind 54.3-percent shooting from the field, and 9 of 14 from behind the arc. Clavell scored 17 points, and Richardson and Daniel Bejarano added 10 apiece in the first half.

Nevada was held to 5-of-30 shooting in the first half and had 12 turnovers.

Tiel Daniels scored 13 points and Stanton Kidd chipped in 12 as the Rams finished at 56.9-percent shooting from the floor, and made 13 3-pointers.

AJ West scored 10 points to lead the Wolf Pack (6-10, 2-2). Nevada improved to 18-of-55 shooting (32.7 percent) by games end, and had six second-half turnovers.
