Woman found dead in overturned vehicle

(KSL News) A woman was found dead in her vehicle that rolled off a freeway ramp early this morning.

Officials say Bonnie Ekins may have been driving too fast when she entered the westbound ramp from I-215 onto State Route 201. It appears she overcorrected, lost control, rolled down an embankment and landed upside down in a canal.

When daylight broke another driver saw Ekins' Envoy and called police, but she already had died.
