Nicole Gonzales reportingThousands of homes along the Wasatch Front were without power most of the morning.
But now the power is back on in most places. The exception is in the Cottonwood area, where about 200 homes are still without electricity.
Heavy winds overnight knocked out power to more than 15,000 homes in Kearns, nearly 1,000 in Holladay, and 500 in Salt Lake. But crews restored that power before 5:00 this morning.
