(KSL News) Thousands of marijuana plants have been seized outside of St. George.
The Washington County Drug Task Force says the 7,500 plants were first spotted by hikers over the weekend. The area was then put under surveillance, and officers raided the site yesterday.
According to the Spectrum, no suspects were taken into custody, though officials say it is clear someone was caring for the plants.
The value of the marijuana seized is believed to be more than $9 million.
