Utahns rank high for friendliness, study shows

It turns out Utahns are pretty friendly, according to a new study.

The study from the University of Cambridge shows Utahns are the fourth most agreeable, fourth most conscientious, and eighth most extroverted.

"I'm from out of town, so that seems to match what I've seen," a man named Jeff told us.

"Yeah, I think they're pretty friendly and outgoing. I've been in customer service all my life and they're pretty friendly and talkative here," a woman named Marsha said.

She's just not sure why.

"Maybe they're just trained that way," she added.

Utahns also are the least neurotic, according to the study. Researchers are trying to show correlations between, say, low crime rates and attributes like agreeability.
