(KSL News) A convicted murderer accused of going on a rampage back in November will be in court this morning for a preliminary hearing.
According to police, Henry Jackson drove his car up on a curb and ran over his ex-girlfriend several times.
He then stabbed her son and dog, all because she was moving and hadn't told him.
Jackson had previously been released from prison after serving a 20 year sentence for murder.
Also in court today-- Antonio Palaez-Vasquez. He's charged with the murder of Hispanic activist Aniceto Armendariz.
Armendariz was a deacon at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Park City.
Palaez-Vasquez is accused of shooting him at the Jordanelle Reservoir back in September of 2005.
His son, Cunny Palaez will also stand trial for murder.
