(KSL News) A convicted sex offender whose sentence may have been illegally shortened by former 3rd District Judge Leslie Lewis, now refuses to accept his original sentence.

Lewis was investigated after she allegedly knocked 10 years off the original sentence of up to 30 years in prison.

A hearing is set for February 16th. A judge will decide which sentence applies.

Voters did not re-elect Judge Lewis last November.
