Mitt Romney is spinning his loss in Iowa into a victory over his closest rival.

Ever the optimist, Mitt Romney is referring to his Iowa "silver medal" to a win over John McCain.

Romney says, "What you are seeing from the people of Iowa is they want someone outside of Washington to come in and change things in Washington, and that's right up my alley. There's no way that Sen. McCain is going to be able to come to New Hampshire and say he's the candidate that represents change."

McCain remains either tied or just behind Romney in most New Hampshire polls.
