Rollover kills 11-year-old boy

(KSL News) A car accident claimed the life of a boy tonight and injured two others.

The vehicle rolled several times on Elberta Slant Road today at about 4:30 p.m., in the south part of Utah County. All three people in the vehicle were ejected.

The driver, a 44-year-old male, suffered critical injuries and was transported by air to University of Utah Medical Center. A 21-year-old male suffered severe head and back injuries. He was transported by ground to Mountain View Hospital and then by medical chopper to Salt Lake City. An 11-year-old boy died at the scene.

Everyone in the vehicle is from Utah County and they are all related. They were likely not wearing seatbelts. Their names are not being released tonight.
