(KSL News) Ethics questions came up at the state attorney general's first public debate last night at the University of Utah.
Republican incumbent Mark Shurtleff criticized his Democratic challenger Jean Hill's lack of courtroom experience and accused her of negative campaigning.
Hill fired back, focusing on Shurtleff's large donations from payday lenders and his inability to investigate bribery allegations against former lawmaker Mark Walker.
According to our latest poll, Shurtleff has a commanding lead over Hill, 61 percent to 16 percent.
