(KSL News) The man accused of leaving his toddler in a hot car while he watched the latest Batman movie was back in court today.
David Farnham, 23, was in court for a pre-trial hearing. He didn't say a word coming out of the courtroom.
The judge ordered Farnham to have no contact with his 2-year-old son after police say he left the child locked inside his car while he watched a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight." People leaving the theater saw the boy sweating and crying and called police. Officers say it was close to 90 degrees inside the car when they pulled the child out.
Farnham has pleaded not guilty to charges of child abuse.
The attorneys involved in this case are still waiting for evidence. That's held the case up.
Farnham's next court appearance is at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, the boy now lives with his mother.
