GREEN RIVER — A routine traffic stop for expired registration led police to find over 1000 pounds of marijuana in Green River on Thursday. The Emery County Sheriff's Office said during the traffic stop, Police K-9 Deputy Dak alerted on a towed trailer, warranting a search. "Between the truck and trailer, a total of 1187 pounds of controlled substance was seized," the sheriff's office said. Police said the bust included marijuana plant material and concentrate.
