SALT LAKE CITY — An Iowa man who shot and killed three Utah women at random in Wayne County so he could allegedly steal their cars and credit cards, appeared in court on Friday. Ivan W. Miller, 22, of Blakesburg, Iowa, is charged with three counts of aggravated murder, a first-degree felony. On Friday morning, Ivan Miller appeared in a Colorado court to discuss state charges and extradition.
Miller waived an extradition hearing. And the District Attorney dismissed the charges Miller faced in Colorado to facilitate his extradition to Utah to face murder charges. Miller was arrested early March near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Miller is accused of killing 86-year-old Margaret Oldroyd, 65-year-old Linda Dewey and 34-year-old Natalie Graves.
