CEDAR CITY — The rider of a four-wheeler was critically injured after he lost control and went into oncoming traffic Friday in Cedar City, police say.

The rider lost control Friday evening near Airport Road and Industrial Road. The four-wheeler hit another vehicle and was overturned, said Cedar City Police Sgt. Justin Ludlow.

The driver was flown in a medical helicopter to a hospital in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
