PARK CITY — One person was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and "multiple patients" were involved in a rollover on westbound I-80 near Lambs Canyon Road near Park City on Friday afternoon.

The crash, reported at around 7 p.m., required the assistance of Park City Fire Department's medic engine, an ambulance, Unified Fire Authority and the Utah Highway Patrol, officials said.
UHP Corp. Chris Bishop said that the vehicle lost control "for an unknown reason" and rolled after hitting the dirt in the median. Bishop said a rear passenger that was not wearing a seatbelt was ejected into an eastbound traffic lane with very serious injuries.
Impairment is being investigated as a potential cause of the crash, Bishop said.
According to UDOT's traffic website after 10 p.m., all eastbound lanes except the right shoulder were cleared.
