PARK CITY, Utah (AP) -- The Park City Council is setting some rules for its snowy slopes.
In a unanimous vote yesterday, the council made reckless, out-of-control skiing or snowboarding a class B misdemeanor. That's punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
Summit County already has a similar ordinance on the books. But Park City resorts say they wanted the city to a similar law to dissuade skiers from endangering others.
