(KSL News) An entire Utah town has received a national historic designation.
From the Carnegie Library to its social hall, every building within Panguitch contains a slice of history.
The National Register of Historic Places put the south-central Utah town on its landmarks list. But naming an entire town to the list is quite unusual.
Many of the buildings were built in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and are still standing. Mormon pioneers settled there in 1864.
Currently about 15-hundred people live in Panguitch.
