Ogden home damaged by fire

(KSL News) Fire severely damaged a house in Ogden early this morning.

Neighbors noticed flames and smoke shooting from the roof of the home and called 911. When fire crews arrived, they found the attic consumed by flames.

No one was home at the time, though crews were able to save two dogs that were inside.

The roof was destroyed, and the rest of the home sustained smoke damage. Fire crews estimate $80,000 in damage.

No word yet on how the fire started.
