Motorcyclist dies in rush-hour wreck

(KSL News) A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in South Salt Lake.

It happened yesterday at 2700 South and State Street during the afternoon rush hour.

Police say a car pulled out in front of the motorcyclist, and he crashed into the back of it.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet. He was flown to the hospital where he died from head injuries.

The driver of the car wasn't hurt.

Officers are still investigating.
