(KSL News) Two men in Ogden today answered a call for help and saved a woman's life.
Colten Poore heard screaming, so he ran and told his co-worker, Mathew Raider, somebody had fallen into the Ogden River, near their concrete shop.
Raider saw a woman in the water, clinging to a branch, and jumped over a barbed wire fence to reach her.
Both workers moved the woman to the river bank and called 911.
She's in stable condition. There's no word yet on the circumstances of her fall.
Ogden firefighters say they don't encourage people to put themselves in danger, but today's rescue, in their words, "gives us hope for society."
